The person behind SafetyBrad
Meet Brad Ziegler.
I help people make sense of safety and risk management by listening first, asking useful questions, and working with them toward practical solutions.

Experience across safety and public service.
Brad J. Ziegler is the Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager for St. Louis Community College. Previously, he was the Safety, Risk, Environmental & Health Services Manager for Six Flags St. Louis.
Brad is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM), OSHA-Authorized Outreach Trainer, and Certified Playground Safety Inspector (CPSI). His public safety background includes work as a firefighter, EMT-B, and Fire Inspector II, alongside experience in emergency management.
Earlier in his career, Brad worked in IT and secondary education, teaching electronics, robotics, and computers. He holds an M.S. in Classroom Education from Missouri Baptist University and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla. That mix of technical, teaching, and field experience shapes his practical approach to safety and risk.
